What is bond revocation?

Can your bond be revoked? Once you're released from bond you're under certain conditions of bond. One of those is to not to commit new crimes. The most common way that your bail bond could be revoked if while you're out on bond you commit a new crime. The district attorney can file a motion to revoke your bond then you will have a hearing to determine if your bond should be revoked. If your bond is revoked, the court will put you in jail until your court case is settled or the court can set conditions on the bond such as a GPS monitor, an ankle bracelet for alcohol or other less drastic alternatives rather than incarceration.
