Suspected driver charged in wreck that left 3 injured

Three vehicular assault charges are only a few of the allegations now facing a 20-year-old Tennessee woman after a single-car accident last week. Report say she was unhurt in the crash, but three others riding in the car she was alleged to have been driving at the time were injured.

Tennessee lawmaker climbs on lower blood alcohol bandwagon

The National Transportation Safety Board recently put its stamp of approval on the notion of lowering the allowable blood alcohol content level for drunk driving to just 0.05 percent. That would be almost half the current standard in all the United States of 0.08 percent.

It was written by Nathaniel Hawthorne in 1850 and tells the story of a Puritan-era mother who is punished by her neighbors to wear a scarlet letter "A" on her dress as a shaming device for having conceived a child by a man other than her husband.
