What age is statutory rape?

Statutory rape is set out by the age of the alleged victim and of the person committing this. A lot of times, statutory rape is a consensual act between the two partners, but the age makes it illegal. For example, if there's a four year difference in the age group, that is statutory rape. There is also a crime of aggravated statutory rate in which there's a 10 year difference.

There's another type of statutory rape, and it's called an aggravated statutory rape by an authority figure. That is the most serious type of statutory rape. The biggest thing is, that is mandatory jail term.
