Savannah Edmonds was born and raised in Frederick, Maryland. She earned her degree in Criminal Justice from High Point University in High Point, North Carolina before attending law school in the heart of Nashville at Belmont University. She began her career at May McKinney as an intern following her second year of law school. Now, as an attorney at May McKinney, she thrives as a fierce advocate for her clients.
Savannah shines in a court room in front of a jury. She tried a first degree homicide case with her mentor, Rob McKinney before the ink was dry on her law license. She sat first chair in a serious felony sex crimes trial, which was ultimately dismissed. In 2024, she graduated from the Trial Lawyers College 3-week course. She regularly attends graduate and stand alone courses through Trial Lawyers College. Savannah is relentless in her pursuit of justice for her clients.
Savannah is active in TACDL (Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers) and has presented during seminars on trial practice. Savannah is more than an zealous advocate for her clients, she is a champion of the criminal defense bar as a community. She mentors interns at May McKinney and works with several young lawyers in the community to support an overall growth in the criminal defense bar.
Outside the office, Savannah regularly attends Pilates and Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes and enjoys horseback riding.
Savannah regularly handles cases in Davidson, Wilson, Williamson, Sumner, Rutherford, Robertson, Cheatham and Dickson Counties.
