What is Solicitation of a Minor?

Specifically, TCA § 39-13-528 specifies that it is illegal for an adult to knowingly contact or communicate with a minor in order to engage in specified illegal activities with or against the minor. These and related prohibitions hold true even if the "minor" is not, in fact, a minor, but rather, "a law enforcement officer posing as a minor, and whom the person making the display reasonably believes to be less than eighteen (18) years of age."
